Cute Little Fairy Tale

In a small peaceful kingdom there lived a King called Midian who had a daughter, a  small princess. She was named Bebo after their goddess of Love but Bebo had no siblings or close friends to play or enjoy with. So the King and Queen gave everything the princess wished. The little princess was loved by all in the Kingdom. When she was 21 the King wished to get her married but our little Bebo would not agree. One day on a trip to a nearby friendly kingdom named Bestletow along with her father, the princess met a prince, a man of her dreams and fell in love with him. He was the popular prince of the decade and he was called Sultan. Days went and their love grew. One fine day our fine princess Bebo told the Queen about her love and indeed they were all happy to hear and get her married.
Soon peace was challenged in the Kingdoms nearby and all Kings and soldiers joined together to fight against a cruel ruler who was progressing against them. The princess' love Sultan could not stay back and joined the Midian's army. For days and days went by and the kings, princes and soldiers did not return. The princess grew tired waiting. One day near the garden she met the young son of a poor farmer named David. The princess wanted to play and  asked him to entertain. The poor boy was a musician. He took her to all beautiful places of the kingdom she never had seen and sang along for hours and hours. He kept singing until his nose started to bleed. The princess saw this and stopped him from singing the moment henceforth. But the princess grew happier as days went by. She spent hours every day and loved his company. She took him wherever she went and he was like a puppet in her hands.
One day she says to the poor farmer's boy that had not Sultan come in her life first she would have definitely married him. He said if she truly loves him then no hunger can kill them. He promised the princess that he would do whatever he can to keep her happy. But the princess was confused and afraid. She suggested him that the court officials suspect her and told him to leave the Kingdom. The poor farmer's boy sets out of the village to do something. He felt perhaps if he grew as a warrior the King would be proud and happy and give him a chance to prove that he is worthy. The boy went to a very old and skilled master of the age. He took every challenge to be his student and successfully passed all the tests. After 6 months of training the boy was all set to fight with his kingdom's army. He travelled back to kingdom with lots of expectations wondering the King would give him a chance to prove himself.
The day came when he reached his Kingdom by the gates when he saw it was all embellished . There were music and joy in the air. As the boy walked through the streets he found the people rejoicing as if it was a festival. As he stood near the gates he watched the princess was getting married to the Sultan. David had made it late. The poor David was silent and shocked. He could not utter a word. People were carrying the Princess on their shoulders back to the Sultan's province. While she passed David, he kneeled and requested to have a word with her. She did not recognize and asked his identity. He said "I am a man born with no powers or wealth and I was asked to dream to be something which I never wished. What purpose does remain when God showed me a dream through the eyes of my love but now has been taken away?". The princess had no replies as she now recognized who he was. She left with no replies and never ever met him in life.  The young boy left the Kingdom with no hopes and purpose to live but he learned something.
Dreams are sometimes better to be dreams and be worthy of making it a reality.

Winning hearts is not that easy....

On 27th of September 2013, it turned out to be different. Not as planned and still heart winning.
It all started more than 2 weeks earlier when I, Jeswin and Tejas were discussing on what songs to sing on Annual day of Ernst & Young GSS Kerala. We did it well. We selected the songs like Pehla Nasha, Nila Nila ( a south Indian melody), Dil se, Pani da (one of my favorites) and Malare Malare (another south Indian hit melody).
Our group comprised of four female singers and 3 male singers. We had a keyboard, guitar and drums. Devi, Irene, Litty, Jeeja were the female singers. Tejas, myself and Jeswin were the male singers. For 2 weeks we had lots of practice. During these practices we built up confidence and synchronized with each other. We got to know each other more. Then came the day of the screening. We sang, the people around loved it but later many criticisms sprang up. Hearing all this we were literally down. Our confidence built had now fallen. At some point we thought we would not make it.
A night came. We were in our office as usual for practice. It was past 9 pm and it was time for our dinner. We went to a nearby hotel. It turned out to be the silence breaker. After dinner when we were coming back, Jeswin flew his car. We were yelling and shouting with fun. Something magical happened. That moment onwards we turned lively, it was all smiles till the day of the showdown.
The biggest nightmare was coming ahead in our journey. It was 27th September morning. We reached the Al Saj convention center around noon. We had our stage rehearsal and we were cool we do it. Everything was in place but yeah, not really everything. I was supposed to play a semi-acoustic guitar and that would be shared from another guy. He was in another group and those guys left the place after their rehearsal. Our program was planned at 6:30pm. I called him and they were 20 miles away from the city. I knew they would not make it. My team started to get nervous. What next?? Tejas then said "we have come this far and we are not turning back!!" Luckily Jeswin had my acoustic guitar in his car. We decided that it is now do or die.
It is 6:30pm and the announcement takes place. I walk on the stage with my own guitar. We walk and take our place. All set! One .. two.. three... here we go.......

Will you wait or keep moving on?

In movies we see this, where the hero or heroine has left their loved one in loneliness and sometimes they even make promise to return. This is just easy in the movies. In the reel life, patience of waiting for the loved one ends in just hours but what about in real life. It is not that real easy.
Your life is one. You do not take birth again. You come and you go. That never repeats. So why wait for someone instead? Keep moving on and on and on... If it is your loved one that keeps you waiting then he/she would not keep you waiting. Your truly loved one would never want you keep waiting.
Things around us are changing in high velocity, not speed though. In this change memories always play their dirty act and will pull you back but it is you, you have to keep moving. You have to tell yourself that there is no waiting and there is no looking back.

When life gives you one more chance

Is it some supernatural power like God or some conincidence, sometimes you just realize that you have got another chance to live. What would you make of this opportunity? The way we take it up will show what kind of a person are we.
Sometimes there is a point when you find that your life could be much better and taking some hard steps will make life more simpler and safe. The words 'Simpler' and 'Safe' would signify lot of things and is applicable in every aspect of love, life and work.
At this point it becomes very important that you ask yourself "What do you really want?"
Sometimes God just brings and places at your footstep everything that you had ever wished for. A healthy life, a good loving partner or a nothing@ risk job. If that is what you ever really wished for then you know what you need to do at that point and there is no turning back after the next step you take, it would not return.

Somebody's Me of Enrique

This song originally is sung by Enrique Iglesias in his album Insomniac. This song describes the feelings and beautifully mentions how special that person is who has just left him/her.

When you have to choose between dreams and reality

Just a couple of days back I said you should let yourself dream even if it is day or night. Moving ahead, what if you have to choose between dreams and reality? Well if you ask me then that is really difficult to answer.

The best answer I feel would be "Chase dreams and live the reality". This would be a process where you would be on the purge of living a life without guilty or regret. Make this your every day motto. Ask yourself where have you reached and what you need to achieve. When you are in the hunt many things might come past your way that will try to magnet your focus away from the path. You know what all it can be right?

So, you do not have to choose between your dream and your reality. Live with passion and execute everything with discipline. Soon your dream is all going to be yours.

Best of luck to my readers and myself ;)
