Caught the second time!

I am writing this about my father who has repeatedly ignored the warning of God. I was sure he would have to change some day.

Last year I had written an article 'When life gives you a second chance!' .Well it was written on basis of couple of things. One reason being the ignorance of my father towards God.

It was just a couple of weeks back when I had resigned from a company and planned to join another one after a gap of one week. Well our plan is not always God's plan. On Feb 13th 2014, the week of Maramon convention, my dad was back to home after attending the Thursday's sermon at Convention. He looked pale and tired. We assumed he was too tired. Late night after our dinner and prayer, dad went to have a sleep but he could not. By 2 am in the morning, he faced a stroke. We were alarmed and afraid. Fear caught our nerves and we were out of any clue what to do. Within an hour we rushed to a nearby hospital. They ran an initial set of tests. They could not identify what was the problem as they did not have any CT Scan instrument. We immediately rushed to another hospital where our father had a treatment a year back. For a couple of days he was in ICU. His condition stabilized but there were consequences. My father had an ischeme stroke. The stroke made right half of his body really weak. He was not able to walk properly.
Literally his brain had forgotten to use right hand and leg.

Well praise God! Dad started showing improvements. Medication was in progress , followed by daily physiotherapy. The doctor advised him never to stop taking medicines, which was the only cause the stroke hit him. My dad has not smoked for past 4 weeks. I am damn happy and I wish that what me, my mom and many people around could not stop him, God could stop him with just a minor yet awakening stroke. My dad has experienced lot of pains the past weeks and he has realized few more things what he couldn't in his 68 years of life.

What I would like to say to my readers is that even we come to similar stage(s) and we should really ask ourselves that if we really want to live the right way then what is wrong in us. Our ego blinds our conscience. We continue to do what we do and one day almighty God catches us. We do certain things and we believe we are right. Are we?
