In a small peaceful kingdom there lived a King called Midian who had a daughter, a small princess. She was named Bebo after their goddess of Love but Bebo had no siblings or close friends to play or enjoy with. So the King and Queen gave everything the princess wished. The little princess was loved by all in the Kingdom. When she was 21 the King wished to get her married but our little Bebo would not agree. One day on a trip to a nearby friendly kingdom named Bestletow along with her father, the princess met a prince, a man of her dreams and fell in love with him. He was the popular prince of the decade and he was called Sultan. Days went and their love grew. One fine day our fine princess Bebo told the Queen about her love and indeed they were all happy to hear and get her married.
Soon peace was challenged in the Kingdoms nearby and all Kings and soldiers joined together to fight against a cruel ruler who was progressing against them. The princess' love Sultan could not stay back and joined the Midian's army. For days and days went by and the kings, princes and soldiers did not return. The princess grew tired waiting. One day near the garden she met the young son of a poor farmer named David. The princess wanted to play and asked him to entertain. The poor boy was a musician. He took her to all beautiful places of the kingdom she never had seen and sang along for hours and hours. He kept singing until his nose started to bleed. The princess saw this and stopped him from singing the moment henceforth. But the princess grew happier as days went by. She spent hours every day and loved his company. She took him wherever she went and he was like a puppet in her hands.
One day she says to the poor farmer's boy that had not Sultan come in her life first she would have definitely married him. He said if she truly loves him then no hunger can kill them. He promised the princess that he would do whatever he can to keep her happy. But the princess was confused and afraid. She suggested him that the court officials suspect her and told him to leave the Kingdom. The poor farmer's boy sets out of the village to do something. He felt perhaps if he grew as a warrior the King would be proud and happy and give him a chance to prove that he is worthy. The boy went to a very old and skilled master of the age. He took every challenge to be his student and successfully passed all the tests. After 6 months of training the boy was all set to fight with his kingdom's army. He travelled back to kingdom with lots of expectations wondering the King would give him a chance to prove himself.
The day came when he reached his Kingdom by the gates when he saw it was all embellished . There were music and joy in the air. As the boy walked through the streets he found the people rejoicing as if it was a festival. As he stood near the gates he watched the princess was getting married to the Sultan. David had made it late. The poor David was silent and shocked. He could not utter a word. People were carrying the Princess on their shoulders back to the Sultan's province. While she passed David, he kneeled and requested to have a word with her. She did not recognize and asked his identity. He said "I am a man born with no powers or wealth and I was asked to dream to be something which I never wished. What purpose does remain when God showed me a dream through the eyes of my love but now has been taken away?". The princess had no replies as she now recognized who he was. She left with no replies and never ever met him in life. The young boy left the Kingdom with no hopes and purpose to live but he learned something.
Dreams are sometimes better to be dreams and be worthy of making it a reality.
